Core Principles and Values:
Rights-Based Approach: We conduct all our activities through a rights-based perspective rather than a charity-based one. Access to decent living conditions is a fundamental right for every individual. We provide our support with this understanding, preserving human dignity and adhering to the principle of equality.
Inclusivity and Equality: We adopt an equal and inclusive approach for everyone, regardless of language, religion, gender, age, ethnic origin, or socioeconomic status. We prioritize increasing the visibility of disadvantaged groups and supporting equal opportunity.
Respect for Human Dignity: We respect the privacy, dignity, and personal boundaries of individuals in all our processes. We base our approach on treating individuals as "right-holders" rather than "aid-recipients."
Transparency and Accountability: We operate with a clear, traceable, and measurable structure toward our donors and stakeholders. We report all our processes, make our impact visible, and prioritize accountability.
Reliability: We act based on verified needs in the field and ensure that resources reach the right people. We consider trust to be the fundamental element of all our stakeholder relationships.

Solidarity and Participation: We believe in the power of co-creating solutions for social problems. We involve our volunteers, donors, and beneficiaries in the process and support the culture of "imece" (collective labor/solidarity).
Sustainable Impact: We aim to create lasting social impact beyond short-term assistance. We plan and implement our projects with a sustainability perspective.
Sensitivity to Needs: We act with the awareness that every individual’s needs are different. Instead of standardized solutions, we develop support mechanisms tailored to the person and the situation.
Empowerment-Oriented Approach: We do not only provide support; we also empower women and families to have more agency over their own lives. We develop models that strengthen rather than create dependency.
Ethics and Responsibility: We carry out all our activities in adherence to ethical principles and exercise maximum care in the use of resources. We adopt social responsibility not just as an activity, but as a core approach.
As of today, AIP Foundation has 35 years of experience as a civil society organization.
We listen attentively to everyone who needs us, striving to understand their needs accurately and fulfill them. These needs can range from education, food, clothing, toys, or a kilo of rice. Dreams can include having a meal at a restaurant, taking a ferry ride, receiving psychological support, and sometimes, it can be as simple as a pot or a kettle missing in a mother's kitchen.

At this point, we carefully avoid approaches that would limit people's dreams and needs because we know that what one person doesn't see as a need may be a priority or dream for someone else. Moreover, someone who wants to donate but has a small budget should still be able to experience the joy of touching someone's life. Therefore, you can support our foundation with any budget you desire and donate various items such as clean clothes, books, or furniture that you no longer use at home.
In addition to our experienced staff, hundreds of volunteers of all ages, genders, and professions work devotedly alongside us. If you wish to become one of our volunteers, let's meet and discuss what we can achieve together. We offer numerous volunteering opportunities, from supporting a child with their studies to engaging in conversations with young people or assisting in office tasks.
One of our essential principles is to embrace and value differences such as religion, language, race, gender, and ethnic background with love. We demonstrate our commitment to a "Culture of Diversity and Inclusion" in all our foundation's activities. We provide equally meticulous support to those in need from all walks of life, backgrounds, and cultures, collaborating and showing solidarity with our donors and volunteers who come from diverse backgrounds and have diverse histories and cultures.
We wholeheartedly believe that everyone can contribute something, either materially or spiritually, to someone in need. With this belief, we share our suggestions and ideas with our volunteers and donors about what they can do. Furthermore, we encourage those we help to support other people in need using their skills. Thus, we aim to increase the contagiousness of kindness like a snowball effect and strengthen the tradition of mutual assistance, which is part of our culture.
Sustainability is one of the main topics that all companies, associations, and many people worldwide ponder for a better world. Therefore, we ensure the continuity of the benefits we provide to those we help and efficiently utilize our resources to reach more people.
As a foundation that advocates that every person worldwide deserves everything necessary for a dignified life, we also carry out services in line with our philosophy that embraces all people. These services include digging wells in water-scarce areas of Africa, providing nutrition, clothing, and beds to children in orphanages worldwide, supporting orphan schools in Africa, and establishing open orphanages in these regions.
With our unwavering enthusiasm for our work and our agility and flexibility skills, we will continue to welcome new donors and volunteers, remaining right beside those in need.
